Does anyone remember this cartoon? One of my favorites!
Fred, Wilma, Barney, Betty, Pebbles, Bamm Bamm, and let’s not forget, Dino!
Three things I remember about Dino their dinodog; he was purple, a very large pet, and he always knocked over Fred when he came home! 🙂
It’s Sunday, a day to relax! So whether you remember the show or don’t even know what the show is, kick back, press play, and enjoy the song “Let The Sunshine In” sang by Pebbles and Bamm Bamm. (I never realized it had such a great message.)
Three things about my cat, Cino, are; she doesn’t like to be picked up, she likes to sleep completely under blankets on the bed, on the couch, and on the floor, & she hides under the table when it’s time to brush her teeth.
Here she is hiding under the table while I am trying to coax her out with poultry flavored toothpaste.

Eli loves ‘dads’ lap; Rosie likes to be picked up and coddled, he will come to me and reach up with his front paws standing on his hind legs begging to be picked up; and Sophie is finicky about people, stand offish, but she loves her mom!! 🙂

I am working on the picking up Cino thing. I hope one day she will just relax in my arms for more than a minute. I got her when she was 3 years old, so who knows if she was picked up and hugged in her first years of life. I also know some cats just don’t like it and it has nothing to do with how their first years were. It’s hard not to hold your pet, I want to cuddle her all of the time! 🙂

I can tell by Cino’s pinched nose she is stressed when this picture was taken. She sounds like she scares easily. Poor baby! ❤

I know it’s hard, I know she hates getting her teeth brushed, but its so important to her overall health. And I only do it once a week because, as you can see, it is no easy task. 🙂

I have a couple who refuse to allow me in their mouth. I get hubby involved. I also give them as snackies Royal Canin Oral Care and I know this helps tremendously. This is the only dry food they get. Hope this helps.

Making sure you know I only feed the top moist foods, giving the dry in a small amount as snackies.

Holistic Select, five different flavors, and prescription I get through my Vet Hill’s brand. I have many special needs to address. I know how important diet is.

I rescued them, some barely alive or some so badly abused I felt like killing someone. They actually found me for the most part. I have some stories most people would ot believe.
And about the Hill’s …. I was not nuts about this brand. I thought it inferior. But my Bella has thyroid problems and after my Vet suggested this food I tried it. After doing so, I noticed a difference almost immediately with her. And yes she had to go on medicine but she is still getting the Y/D. 🙂

So am I!!! Sorry, LeeAnn, but I was in the middle of several things so wrote hastily. Let me just give you an example of why my babies are special needs …. Our neighbors had barn cats who they neglected and did not get fixed. Their frame of mind was cats can tend for themselves. So year after year I witnessed these poor cats starving and pregnant. I began to step in by feeding them and then I began to bring some of the kittens inside. I being a medical professional knows when a baby in utero does not get the proper nutrition and again while nursing, that kitten will have problems. And sure enough these guys do, mostly having immune issues and renal issues. Those are from the barn. I have others that literally came to me, one whose feral brother actually carried to get here. He brought him to my front door. This poor baby was near death and when brought in to a Vet was found to have FIV. He was so ill I could not bring him into a Vet to get neutered and checked out until he was about 1 years of age. He is two in this house that has no vaccines. Starting about 8 years ago after one of our babies died from the Rabies vaccine I have stopped vaccinating our cats. I’ve been refused medical help at some organizations due to this reason. There. Now I hope you get a better understanding of what I and my husband are doing. We also combine allopathic and natural means (mostly Homeopathy) to keep these precious babies healthy with quality of life. ❤ ❤ ❤

Vaccines, the right food, all of it is so confusing. I try to educate myself and I pray a lot! 🙂

The feral brother yes knew me. I had been feeding him. Feral cats showed up here and I left food out for them. I have some heartbreaking stories about them. Thank God I haven’t seen any feral cats in years. It is so hard to know they are living in frigid temperatures and always having to be alert for wild animals and other cats. This feral cat I called Whiskers and his brother, the one I have today, I named Whispers. They looked identical. Whispers is such a sweet baby and to think of him outside is just a nightmare. I am forever grateful to Whiskers. He no longer is alive.
It’s taken me years to educate myself and I still am today. Yes I agree it is confusing. Start reading research that claims that a cat needs only to be vaccinated once in his or her lifetime. I strongly believe the vaccines are completely overdone and are causing a lot of health issues today in our animals.
