Sunday Pause (Paws): A Street Cat Named Bob

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back and relax!

A great way to relax is to watch a movie! Have you seen the movie “A Street Cat Named Bob?” I actually haven’t, but now that I know about it, I will probably watch it sometime.

This Sunday’s post is a guest post from the blog idealizeblog. The YouTube videos and all of the words in the italicized section are part of the guest post.

Given my love for animals and my special appreciation for cats, I could only find this movie lovely.

A street cat named bob is a movie that was released in the cinema in late November 2016, a true story about the eternal struggle of a young man against this addiction to drugs and junky tendencies.

A movie about trust, love, hope and courage. It illustrates various stages of life and the consequences every choice made will have on your future and human relationships. A movie that illustrates the second chances we are given at times and how we decide to take advantage of them.

I once owned a ginger cat and their reputation of eternal attachments is no mystery. Ginger cats become part of you; your guide, your guardian angel. That watchful eye that sneaks in at night and is present daily. Your companion and friend for life. You don’t choose a ginger cat, it chooses you and it’ll stick around a lifetime.

Bob went a long ways to saving Charles’ life, become the strength and reason he overcame his addiction, and simply was his friend. Always present.

Even though this film received alot of negative film reviews, it’s a life-changing experience and filled with life lessons about family, forgiving, caring, loving and friendship. Not just between men but between man and his pet.

A film I’d highly recommend for animal lovers and non-lovers out there.

A 1:45minutes of delight and eye-opening moments….

Even though it is Sunday and this movie is about a strong subject, overcoming addiction, I don’t think God minds. This is what God is all about, helping people change and heal from things like addiction and from what I can tell about this particular movie, a cat helped change a man’s life! Animals are powerful and beautiful! God uses them to help us, just like he uses us to help them!

Personally, I don’t worry too much about what the reviews say about a movie. Not everyone has the same taste or finds the same pleasures in life.

Take a pause from the busyness of life and check out this movie, or at least the movie trailer, and please let me know what you think of it.

Have you already seen this movie? What did you think?

HAPPY SUNDAY!

This movie looks good. I haven’t seen it and don’t know, if I will get the possibility either, but I like the idea behind. I once had a ginger cat too, he chose me and stayed for a while, until he was too sick by cancer behind one eye, then I needed help by a vet not to let him live with such pain, as he had. He was a lovely companion 🙂

I haven’t seen the movie but I’ve read the book. It’s a great book and I had a hard time putting it down! I got the second book for my birthday but haven’t had a chance to read it yet. Soon, though!
