Sunday Pause (Paws): For Creativeness

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and maybe get creative.

This is something I like to do in my leisure time. I like creating artwork pieces from photos and trying different crafts. Have any of you ever done the wine & paint nights? I have gone to 2 classes. Here are my masterpieces.

OK…definitely not masterpieces. But it was really fun creating them. It’s just time to get away, be with family & friends and pretend that your an artist for a little bit. 🙂

I am definitely not an artist but the gal who did this painting of my Cino sure is!

Once it is finished you will see this painting in the new header I am working on creating for my blog.

Next weekend I am hosting a “girls day” and one of the activities that is planned is painting a small canvas…another painting on the way. In a few weeks I am going to a class with a friend to make a glass bowl with a weave design. Can’t wait to see how that turns out. Let the creativity begin!

It’s important to take some time out for some creativeness every now & then. What do you enjoy doing?

Happy Sunday!

Note: I have many things going on right now, so if I haven’t visited your blog lately please forgive me. I WILL catch up with them eventually. Kind of excited because today my friend, who is a photographer, is coming to do a little photo shoot of Cino & I. Prayers they turn out. 🙂

I was going to major in Art in college but switched……(my Father was an Editorial Cartoonist, Ray Osrin)………….I attended two of those painting classes and think they are great for those that truly need direction, but for naturally creative people I find them to be much too rigid. I do love your paintings and I particularly like the one your friend did of Cino.
