Sunday Pause (Paws): It Might Be An Angel

its-sunday-aafbt

Time to kick back, relax, and enjoy some poetry.

I wrote a poem to go along with what I think is an adorable photo of Cino that I recently got with my new camera. I hope you enjoy it. πŸ™‚

IT MIGHT BE AN ANGEL

When I look at that sweet face
I see an angel among this place
For me the word “just” doesn’t exist
Your needs are always high on my list

That pink wet nose I love to kiss
You are not “something” to just dismiss
A friend, family…nothing less
It’s not a debate or to second guess

Those eyes show so much soul
You have a place, you have a role
On this earth, every minute, every hour
Because this world is yours, it’s mine, it’s ours

Β My advice to all the people out there
Look at their face and be aware
Animals are a gift from above
It might be an angel you’re taking care of

Happy Sunday!

  1. Shadow & Ducky's Mom

Yup, exactly how I feel about my girls, past and present. Kissy and Callie are my Guardian Angels, Shadow and Ducky are my Earth Angels. Their halos may slip a bit now and then but it makes me love them even more. ❀️❀️❀️❀️

Beautiful! Sometimes…I could swear I see a fire deep in my little ones eyes. Burning bright with life and intelligence. I just know they’re keeping records of all the dum things I’ve done to tell God when they get there!😁 Ahh..the stories they could tell!😊😁🐾🐈 Andrea.
