It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and break some records…

Not that kind of record, silly Cino
It’s about all of this endless snow
The most in February in history
It just won’t stop, it just won’t go

We’re already buried up to our chin
Mounds of white everywhere you turn
And yet a blizzard warning is out
It’s starting to cause some serious concern

Pipes are bursting, roofs are leaking
Mother nature why oh why?!
Cars getting stuck, endless shoveling
It’s all making us want to cry

So Cino might be on to something
Let’s put on a record and crank up the sound
Let it all out and let loose…whooo hooo!
Go ahead, come on, let’s get on down!

I’m guessing some of you are asking
“What’s a record?” to which I say
“Oh dear I’m old because I still have some”
But I still enjoy them anyway

Because if I were given a choice
Of which kind of record I would like
I would choose the vinyl one
All of this snow can take a hike!

I hope you enjoyed the poem. It’s the reality I have been living. But actually I have been keeping a pretty good attitude about it all. Some people around me are not, but I can’t blame them. Just in my circle I know of people that really have had pipes burst, roofs leak, and cars stuck. And if you’re reading this on Sunday, then we are currently smack dab in the middle of yet another blizzard warning here. It really won’t quit and we really did break a record for the most snow in February in history!

OK, now down to the serious question…how many of you KNOW what a record is? Or…how many of you HAVE a record? 🙂
