It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and for me make a blog post. But sometimes I’m just not in the mood.
Us bloggers have our blogs for a reason and most of us try our best to be actively posting. But sometimes are you just not in the mood? I can’t be the only one.
I recently was sick with an awful cold that I had for about a week but I am feeling better now. The weather though has been hot with high humidity which is doing a number on me. I get sinus issues and headaches from it. There are a number of sick people I’m around at my job too. So I’m just praying I don’t catch anything else.
Aside of trying to feel good, I have been searching for a new home which is keeping me busy along with my full time job. So when it comes to sitting down and writing a post… well frankly I’m just not in the mood. I’d rather curl up on the couch and take a nap.
Sometimes I just want to sit and do nothing and just be!
So that’s what I’m going to do. But I’m still always advocating for animals. There are many ways just in our daily life that helps animals; food choices, environmental choices, and spending time praying for them. (Just this past week I chose to not participate in any of the holiday celebrations. Instead I stayed home with Cino to help comfort her through the loud booming fireworks and prayed for all the pets and wildlife being terrified by them)
OK, now it’s time to go and do nothing and just be. It looks like Cino beat me to it. 🙂
Happy Sunday!
No, you’re not alone. Heat and high humidity just make me wilt like flowers that haven’t been watered in a while. And all that’s conducive to is crashing on the couch.

We have high heat and humidity here too. My sinuses sure don’t like it. Ugh!

Oh I TOTALLY get it! I have two blogs…on my cat blog I posted a minimum of 3 days per week (and more) for about 8 years of the almost 10 years that we have been blogging. I have always posted less on Dakota’s blog. When I reach 10 years this fall, I will be posting even more sporadically.

Stick with your advocacy, Cino! It’s one of the best things you and your excellent person can do!

Yeah, the past few days have been tough on these fur angels of ours, LeeAnn, with all the commotion around the 4th. Sometimes it is good to just chill ….. I’ve been into books and just sitting in my lounge chair in my backyard watching the bird and squirrel activity. Our present day lives are just so fast paced …. so we need to look to our fur babies to take lessons on how to be still. LOL Glad to hear your cold is better …. I actually had one too this year. Bummer, right? Stay well!! (((HUGS)))!! 🐾🐾🐾
