Sunday Pause (Paws): For Breaks

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and sometimes that even means taking some breaks from blogging.

I‘ve mentioned that we’ve been looking for a new home and we now have found one! We are not officially moving for another 4 weeks but it has already kept us very busy running between two places, cleaning, setting up water, electricity….well I’m sure you know (etc., etc., etc.)

Because of this I may not always get my Sunday post in during the next month or so but I will try. They will probably be short & sweet like this one.

Did you know today is “Sacrifice Our Wants for Other’s Needs” Sunday? I certainly want to give a shout out to my mom for helping so much with getting the new place clean before moving our stuff in. She often sacrifices her time and energy for others, especially family.

I definitely need to do more for others. But, as you know, I do spend a lot of my time advocating for animals. So that is helping others just not the two legged kind. Are you good at sacrificing time to help others?

Happy Sunday!

Good luck with the move! I hate moving. And yes, I consider what you’re doing for animals as helping others. I try to help others if I can, but it usually ends up being just my mom (who is pretty active with her church). If I had more time, I would like to be able to volunteer at an animal shelter or something, but I just don’t have the spare time to do that right now. So I just end up donating a few bucks here and there to help animal charities, and I have my Amazon Smile set up donating to the ASPCA when I make Smile-eligible purchases.

Yes! I’m happy to help other, and don’t consider it a sacrifice because I do what I can, when I can, and how I can. To me, that makes all the difference.

I love that you are there for our furry friends. I also believe you are helping others because you provide education. You open eyes!

Have a safe move. I can’t wait to hear how swimmingly it goes. There’s usually something exciting about fresh & new. 🙂
