Sunday Pause (Paws): For New Surroundings

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and for us…take in new surroundings.

The move went fine but there is still so much to do and get used to. It is always very strange when in a new home. I am having trouble sleeping and getting into a groove around here. Cino is too. She spent the first couple days hiding but is now wandering around most of the new place. But I can tell she is uneasy and confused.

We now have a stairway and she spends alot of time going up and down the steps and meowing. I’m not sure if she’s having fun or stressed. I don’t think she’s ever experienced steps before. New surroundings, new adventure.

We have alot of new surroundings and it will take time to feel comfortable. We’re working hard but at times we are allowing ourselves to just rest.
