Not too long ago I mentioned I was going to a class where we would make a glass bowl. Something I have never done before. I like to do crafty things occasionally and I especially like trying new things.

A few people mentioned they would like to see the finished bowl so I am sharing it with you today…but first Cino needed to check it out.

Cino just finishing the sniff check.

Then she came over to give me a sniff up close. I think she smelled some food on my breath since I was just eating lunch. The picture is a bit blurry/fuzzy because it was up so close. But I still think it’s pretty cute. 🙂

I think she gave her sniff of approval on the bowl and now here it is with a few pieces of fruit in it.

LeeAnn, I agree – it’s fun to try new things! Looks nice! How did you heat the glass to shape the bowl?

  Actually we designed the bowl and then you left it there and they shape it in a mold in the kiln. I had to wait four weeks to get it. 🙂
