Not too long ago I mentioned I was going to a class where we would make a glass bowl. Something I have never done before. I like to do crafty things occasionally and I especially like trying new things.

Deciding on colors & design. Gluing glass together.
A few people mentioned they would like to see the finished bowl so I am sharing it with you today…but first Cino needed to check it out.

Cino just finishing the sniff check.
Then she came over to give me a sniff up close. I think she smelled some food on my breath since I was just eating lunch. The picture is a bit blurry/fuzzy because it was up so close. But I still think it’s pretty cute. π

Hello there!
I think she gave her sniff of approval on the bowl and now here it is with a few pieces of fruit in it.
I love how unique it is.
It’s always fun to try new things!
LeeAnn, I agree – it’s fun to try new things! Looks nice! How did you heat the glass to shape the bowl?
Sweet photo of Cino!!

Actually we designed the bowl and then you left it there and they shape it in a mold in the kiln. I had to wait four weeks to get it. π

Okay! That makes sense, LeeAnn.

It’s a really attractive and functional design–not much danger any fruit will roll out !

Exactly! To be honest I wasn’t sure I would like it, but I do. π

Very cool! Love the texture! Ya know…..if you leave it out anywhere empty, Cino may decide it’s a very nice and comphy bed!πΈπ Andrea.

Cino’s picture is precious! And the bowl is cool. Cats always come first, if you know what I mean.
