So much of this happening right now and it’s so sad that people did not think it through when they brought them home. We must remember animals are not objects to just be bought and returned or thrown out like garbage. This kind of selfishness and irresponsibility is causing them harm. They are living, feeling beings, and a lifetime commitment, just like any other family member.

Now that people are returning to work, they are dropping off some of the pets they adopted when they were home all the time because now they “can’t” take care of them. But in some cases the pets themselves still have a home but have to adjust to being separated from their humans. Purrayers for all of them.

That’s exactly what inspired this post and image. Definitely prayers needed for them all. ๐โค

I have several cats that have been dumped by my home. Many people know that I’ll take care of them somehow. Around here, I’m known as The Cat Lady!๐ธ๐พ๐
Problem is that supplies get short, , especially in winter here in Colorado!
But I always manage to find a way to get them a warm place and food. I don’t believe in Throw Away! So as long as I’m able, ill wear the Title Cat Lady with pride.
I’m working with the local shelter to get more Trap n Neuter and resources out here in the rural areas. Hopefully, ill have a bit more help this Winter to keep my little ones safe.
When they end up here, they get new beds, new food, and new Names!
To me, this is a sanctuary, but not for Throw Aways; its a sanctuary for New Beginnings!
I’ll never understand why people do what they do, but , I am going to do all I can, to undo what was done, by showing them that not All humans are bad!
God Bless You๐๐ Abundantly sweetheart๐ค๐๐ธ๐พ
And God Bless the little ones too!๐พ๐ธ๐ฃ๐

We agree and that’s why we’re supporters of the Home to Home program (that was created by the director of our local shelter and now is nation-wide). When life happens it is so good to know that a pet can find and go to a new forever home without ever having to go to the shelter.
Purrs & Head Bonks,
