It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and take some time to get to know someone.
If you go to church on Sunday you probably have a greeting time where you shake your neighbor’s hand and meet someone new. For some this is something they look forward to, they may love meeting new people. But for some this might make you a bit uncomfortable, you’re a bit more shy and unsure of new people.
Today I have a little story about two cats getting to know each other and one was pretty unsure of this new addition to the family.
Dakota has shared his home with my cousin Trish & her family for many years. They just recently decided to adopt a kitty.
They named the kitty Panda. Panda felt right at home pretty quickly. In fact, the family gave her the nickname “Panda Express” because she runs around the house at the speed of lightning having a good ol’ time.
Dakota has spent his time checking out Panda and keeping his distance.
But things are looking up!
Dakota and Panda are getting along just fine now. Trish did it the right way, allowing them to get to know each other at their own pace. She kept an eye on them until they were comfortable with each other. This is very important when introducing new animals to each other so there are no fights or injuries.
Here are the original pictures.
What started out with a “not so happy cat” ended with two “happy cats!”
Happy Sunday! Go out and meet someone new today.
This has been another edition of “Happy Cats” for “Happy Cats Month.”

I love that story and the way it was told by the pictures! Good job
