How is the image above with the quote related to Halloween? It is because, unfortunately, there are a lot of people who like to hurt animals. On this night when there are a lot of pranksters out, your pet can become the victim of their pranks and trouble-making, which sometimes even results in killing animals.
Most likely, those that are out causing havoc on Halloween are probably not seeking a “righteous life.” But the point is, it is NEVER OK to hurt animals. They have every right to be here, to be respected, and to be allowed to live out their life, just as we are.
So with this holiday approaching that can be a lot of fun for children, but not so much for our pets, I would like to share a post I wrote last year called Halloween Safety Tips For Your Pet. Please click the link to read it and I hope you’ll pass it on.
Also if any of you have a picture of your pet in a Halloween costume and would like to share it with me, please send it to animalsarefeelingbeingstoo@q.com and I may use it in a post. Be sure to include your pet’s name and your blog link (if you have one).
Here’s to a safe Halloween for everyone!
All good advice! I read your last year’s post too, and it is excellent and very sobering. Yes, there is evil in the world, and we need to protect the lives and safety of our precious pets! Effie will be indoors except when I am out with her!
