I hate the thought of abandoning an aging pet, but I love that you wrote this. People capable of simply discarding a live pet when he or she becomes a bit more high maintenance in their waning age are grossly self-centered and murderously wrong! Grrrowl!
It is so cruel and the thought of it is so disheartening! They obviously aren’t thinking about the fact that they too one day will be old and I highly doubt they want to be discarded because of it. It’s a part of life for ALL.

It is so cruel and the thought of it is so disheartening! They obviously aren’t thinking about the fact that they too one day will be old and I highly doubt they want to be discarded because of it. It’s a part of life for ALL.
