An Interview With Me

I recently was part of an interview with another blogger. I participated in this because it is so important to me to get my message out there. What is my message?…

To respectfully bring attention to the treatment of animals in our society, how this was not in God’s plan for HIS creatures, that animals are living, feeling beings, and that we need to speak up and help them.

You can check out the interview here. You may get to know me a little better. There are also links to some of my previous posts in the interview that you may have not had the chance to read.

One thing I would like to mention is why I said this in question 8 in the interview: “Oddly enough, I do not necessarily like to follow blogs that are about ‘animal activism.’ I applaud them but I find these blogs usually too graphic for me to handle.”  I have spent many years researching animal abuse issues by reading material and watching videos. I have seen and heard it all. I reached a point where reading & seeing the graphic posts put me into a very dark place. This does not mean I have my head in the sand! I did my part, I did educate myself, and I have heard & seen the horrible realities of what animals go through. Now I am trying to make a difference.

I hope you enjoy it! Let me know what you think.

Note: I will be posting a picture of my cat, Cino, tomorrow on my Sunday Pause (Paws). She’ll be showing you her tummy. The fur is starting to grow back. I hope you’ll come back!

LeeAnn, I enjoyed your interview. Like you I want animals to be safe and cared for, but like you I find it nearly impossible to read and follow organisations or persons that post images of horrendous abuse. Lord bless you!!
