Sunday Pause (Paws): Down Time

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and enjoy some down time.

I did just that yesterday. Me and a couple of friends got together yesterday and spent the entire day baking cookies. I don’t know if you can actually call this “down time”, it’s a lot of work. But it’s the fun of not worrying about anything else but making delicious treats, having great conversation, a great meal, and a few laughs.

I am posting today’s post later this morning than I usually do because of the late night. Usually I put the post together the day before, but this was put together this morning. I didn’t even know WHAT I was going to post.

But here it is and the point of today’s post, and most of my Sunday posts, is to encourage you (and myself) to at least take one day to enjoy, relax, and reflect on what is most important. I know there is a lot of crazy stuff going on in the world, but do take some time to think of all that is well because there is still a lot of good. Be that good!

those are darling graphics and great advice! We are doing the same, from now until probably the second week of January, we are NOT maintaining a “normal” blogging schedule, we are trying to enjoy the people and things around us instead of being lost online for hours upon end!

“. . .at least take one day to enjoy, relax, and reflect on what is most important.” For us, that is what our church is for. The preaching instills reflection on the truth of God’s sovereign grace. It is the most important thing I can think of.
