Sunday Pause (Paws): Only For A Minute

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back and relax.

2020 hasn’t been so fun
We’re ready for it to be done
Masks, sanitizing…I’m sick of this crap
So if you’ll excuse me, I’m getting back to my nap

After all that’s what Sundays are for. Cino woke up to say hi…but only for a minute.

Happy Sunday!

Since my life is currently consumed with trying to get the new place together I haven’t had a lot of time to write posts. But it’s kind of nice on Sundays Continue reading

Sunday Pause (Paws): Search For Joy In It All

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back and relax.

Winter has felt relentless so far this season. But through it all when you pause and look around you can see that it can actually be very beautiful. Seeing the beauty can bring joy to such a gloomy season.

The picture below is from right outside my door. Not so bad seeing that each day.

There are less animals out & about also (at least that we see). But every now & then you are fortunate to see one of God’s amazing creatures out frolicking. My friend took the picture below of the deer and I edited it. Continue reading

Sunday Pause (Paws): Do I Have To?

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back and relax.

Do you ever just want to stay under the covers?

Maybe you ask sometimes “do I have to?”

Do I have to…
β€’go out in the freezing cold
β€’go to work
β€’clean the house
β€’do the laundry
β€’unpack
β€’etc., etc., etc.

The answer is yes! Continue reading

Sunday Pause (Paws): So Cute

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back and relax!

I am sharing a video from a few years ago. The video has pics of pets from family, friends, and followers. They’re so cute they’re worth sharing again. 😊

Happy Sunday!

Sunday Pause (Paws): Fun With New

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and enjoy new things.

Isn’t it fun when you get something new? New furniture, a new haircut, a new car, etc. It’s even more fun when it’s something you can play around with.

I just got a new phone and I’m spending WAY too much timing playing around with it to get to know all of the things it can do.

I‘m especially excited about the camera. Here are a few of the very first photos I took with it.

We were taking a little walk in an area we love going to that’s by a river. We were shocked when we saw how flooded the usually beautiful walking and sitting area was. The water came way up into where the picnic tables and benches are. Notice the geese lying on the picnic table relaxing and catching some sun. It’s not bothering them. πŸ™‚

Sunday Pause (Paws): Fun With Pics

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and let the artsy fartsy side come out.

Sometimes you just never know “what you want to be when you grow up.” I still really haven’t figured it out and I should be retiring in less than 20 years. A lot of my life I feel like I was just “surviving.” I always felt lost and unsure of myself. So I made some bad choices and went down the wrong path for a while. Basically I was just trying to pay the bills, fit in, and trying to be happy. But it was when I started paying attention to God that things started changing…I started changing. I’m still a “work in progress” and will be all of my days. No one is perfect. But I’m not just trying to survive anymore. I’m trying to “live”…really truly “live.” Because it isn’t just about what we “do” to pay the bills, it’s who we are and how we live.

I still haven’t figured out “what I want to be” to pay the bills but I have discovered that I enjoy being creative. My love for animals is nothing new. I have loved them all of my life and have always tried to advocate for them. With discovering that I like being creative I can take my love for animals and my love for creating and combine them. πŸ™‚

This week I took a photo of Cino and started playing around with it and turning it into artwork.

It’s so fun playing with images
And turning them into artwork
Editing them on your own
Or using filters can be a perk
