It’s that time of year and we’re buried in snow again.
We actually had blizzard warnings. We have it all: snow, wind, and freezing temps.
Here is a little view out our window facing parking lot. The snow plow guy is out there hard at work clearing them.
This kind of weather always makes me think of animals. Some people think because they are an “animal” they will be ok in any kind of weather. Not true.
They get cold or hot the same as we do. In the wild they may know how to find a way to shelter and warm themselves. But domesticated animals do not. For one they are restricted to a fenced in area or chained. They only have what you provide.
Here is a link to a few posts I’ve written about this. I think it is so important to keep talking about.

I can only agree with you, LeeAnn.
All animals deserve to have shelter, fresh food and water and protected from both the cold in winter and in the summer the warmth.

Absolutely! They are living beings just as we are.

Stay safe! And I agree, all animals need appropriate shelter, especially in bad weather and extreme temperatures.
