Sunday Pause (Paws): What Do We Do With That Darn Anxiety?

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back & relax! But who can do that with all this anxiety?

My sister brought over these three books for me. Cino’s veterinarian said “with your personality.” Is somebody trying to tell me something?

Actually, I’m kidding. They don’t need to tell me, I know. I am an anxious person. I’m working on it though. But this post isn’t to be a downer or to focus on my anxiety. I am super appreciative of my sister and I am going to read those books. I also love my veterinarian and he’s right…I do have “that personality.” He was actually just trying to accommodate me.

I don’t know who has a harder time when it’s “that time of year” for an annual health screening, Cino or I. Anxiety tries to take over both of us.

With everything going on in the world, aside of our own personal worries, it’s easy to let anxiety take over. But then there are times like these when your adorable pet wants to play peek-a-boo from behind a door and your anxiety melts away.

So what do we do with all that darn anxiety? Maybe go play with your pet for a while.

Happy Sunday! 🙂

The best therapist has four legs and fur 🙂 Or so the memes I’ve seen say, and I totally agree. I also like to go out and walk in nature (a park, woods, around a lake, the beach, etc.) to calm down. Nature has a great healing ability.
