Sunday Pause (Paws): March 2021

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back and relax.

We all agree that 2020 and even 2021 have been incredibly challenging years. This month has turned out to be a bugger for me as well. March 1st I fell and injured my ankle pretty badly. I have never had anything quite like this happen and it has been very challenging. I tried for the first few weeks to go on with life as normal but it wasn’t working. I was struggling in many ways and the demands of life can make you feel pressured. Now I am concentrating on getting better and making that the priority.

My birthday was last Sunday and there wasn’t much celebrating because of my injury and not being able to get together due to the pandemic. But I received gifts and cards in the mail along with a number of phone calls and messages. My mom also dropped off some goodies and gifts for me.❤️ One of the gifts was a wreath I have been wanting for months that I found on Etsy. Here is a picture of the wreath as I opened it up. It’s still in the box and after checking it over thoroughly, it is also Cino approved.

For a while now I have only been posting on Sundays. As bloggers we sometimes experience writer’s block or creative blocks. I have been experiencing this for a while. I think part of it is just how life has been for a few years. Purchasing a house, moving, the pandemic hit and brought along new challenges, etc. So for any of my newer followers just posting on Sundays is not how it has been and is not how I plan for it to be always. I want to eventually get back to posting at least a few times a week and discuss more on animal issues.

With that in mind I would like to share some of the images I have made with messages on them. That is the way I have been expressing myself mostly in the past few years. These messages are where my heart is. If the slideshow doesn’t allow enough time to read the messages on each image you can stop the slideshow and use the right arrow key to go at your own pace.

Happy Sunday!

Hi sweetheart🤗! I don’t comment often. But I want to let you know that you Always make me smile! You’re doing a great job! Your posts make us think and give us insight to how we can be better people. Caring about animals is a rudimentary and fundamental core that is needed to make any changes for the better. If we’re going to heal, we must teach how to care, but its a hard message that falls on deaf ears many times. There’s so much hardness and apathy to work though, sometimes we want to just quit, figuring what’s the use, no one is there. No one is listening. But there are people who do see you and hear you. We’re in the quite places, pondering your words, and praying for you and those who want to make a Good place for the animals and children.
I want you to know, that You are being heard! Sometimes, we put way to much importance on “likes” and comments and little emoticons. And when we pour our hearts into a really good post, and don’t get even a smiley face or a like, we think somehow we’ve failed, because no one is there. But we are. Don’t focus on the numbers and stickers, Focus on Jesus. He’s very proud of you!He wouldn’t go to the trouble of putting His message in you, if He didn’t intend to get His work out of it!😁📖💗
And so am I. Message me anytime you wish to have an “outside ear” to chew.
I’m here anytime. My prayers are with you!
    Hug Cino for me!
    God Bless you my friend.
    You’re doing a Great job!
