Sunday Pause (Paws): For Family

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax and spend some time with family.

For this post, I have included pictures of just a few of my family members. They are photos I have taken recently while spending time with them. (Note: The photos of my parents didn’t have the greatest quality, so I did a lot of playing around with them and decided to turn them into more of “artwork” type photos. That is why they look as they do.)

My mom and I recently had the most enjoyable time going for a walk by a man-made body of water. We found a swing to sit on and we just kicked back, relaxed, and enjoyed the view while sipping on a Chai Latte from Starbucks (my favorite and I mean FAVORITE drink).

Last weekend mom, dad, & I spent the day together. It was a rainy day, but we didn’t let that stop us. We still walked all around one of our favorite towns. A little rain has never hurt anyone. 🙂

Of course, I can’t leave out Cino. After all she is my family too. I caught this fantastic photo of Cino when she was laying in the tunnel part of her climber. We were enjoying the morning breeze, the sunshine, and the sound of the birds when she dozed off in there. I snuck up on her to try to catch a photo. She turned her head and looked up at me just as I was taking it.

Version 2

I‘ve always enjoyed spending time with my family, but since the passing of my sister my family doesn’t feel complete. We’re all still mourning. Don’t get me wrong, we are moving on with life. But it isn’t something you ever get over, you just learn how to live without them. With that said, I feel the importance of family more now than ever.

So whether it’s sitting on a swing, walking in the rain, playing with a pet, or something else, let it be SOMETHING. Time with family is so important.

Happy Sunday!
