I can’t even bring myself to read the full story about the dogs & roosters rescued from a place in Wisconsin. I read the dogs had wounds & scars and the roosters were surgically altered for fighting. That was all I could handle and I can barely handle that.
It’s cases like this that I do what I do. I can’t know these things are happening and just let it be.

That is right, and I would certainly be there for them. If they were mine, there would be no question, I would treat them if I could; if it was out of my ken, we’d be off to the EVOD (Emergency Vet on Duty). If they were strays, I would take them to the emergency vet on duty.
