In my early blogging days when I was still an apprentice. In the days when I would spend hours staring at the computer screen or googling things, researching and using YouTube. I still do that but I’m more of an expert now. Anyways, in those days I was trying out the creation of a photo gallery and customizing it to my menu. I decided to make a photo shoot session with the friendliest being I know…please meet Happy.
This is a tale about a little toy poodle.
There was a couple that had three small children and decided it was time to bring a furry friend into the family. So, one day they all took a drive. The children were told that mom was stopping to get some yarn.
Mom went inside to find a litter of puppies so energetic, so full of wiggles & wags. There was one puppy that caught her eye and she knew he was the one. Mom said the puppy actually picked her. (It seems our pets choose us in most cases, doesn’t it?)
She carried the puppy close to her, hidden, so the children would think it was a black ball of yarn. Surprise! The three children were so excited! They loved this dog so much, especially the youngest one and he soon became the mom’s baby, her “other child.” Continue reading

When I first saw this picture, I was heart broken. The old cliche “a picture says a thousand words” hit me right in the nose. Here is a man “buying” a new puppy for his child while a homeless, starving dog is laying right there on the street. It even looks like it is raining outside too.
There are a few thoughts that I feel can be taken from this picture.
You can accumulate many things: sick time & vacation time at work, wealth, frequent flyer miles, and of course, THINGS!!!
Some people are rich, some people are poor. Whether you have accumulated many THINGS in your life or not, ask yourself this…is it worth it?
