My niece is here visiting all the way from Norway. This made me think about taking out “fishy.”
Shortly after I adopted Cino, my niece made this fish for her and sent it in the mail all the way from Norway. Such a sweet gift!
I named it “fishy”, but find myself always saying to Cino…do you want to play with “fishy wishy?” I’m not sure why this is, but everything winds up with a “y” at the end, or a word added on that rhymes beginning in a “w”, or both. Her favorite mouse toy has become “mousey wousey.” Her felt puzzle is now “puzzle wuzzle” and her owl toy is of course “owly wowly.“ Continue reading
