It’s Sunday and it’s also “Pet Photo Day” or what I like to think of as simply “Show Off Your Pet Day.”
I have a video (instead of a photo) of Cino below where she is playing with her favorite toy mousey. I keep a basket of toys under a table in the living room. I only pull it out once and a while just to change it up. I pulled it out last weekend but didn’t get any toys out. A little while later there was Cino in the bin checking everything out and helping herself to the toys. After pawing, sniffing, and checking them all out the one she pulled out was her mousey. She loves her mousey! She was having such a good time tugging, biting, throwing, and pouncing on mousey that I quickly grabbed my phone and started recording. I didn’t start recording quick enough to get it all or the cutest part but I think us pet parents know how challenging that can be. At least you can see her and her favorite toy.
Later on she picked up mousey with her teeth and put it back in the bin. I mean, how adorable is that?! I’m disappointed I didn’t get that on video.
Let me know in a comment if you did a post on “Pet Photo Day” so I can check it out. I may even ask your permission to use the photo in one of my future posts.
Today I would like to honor some pets that have passed away. I have gathered some photos from Facebook submissions, fellow bloggers, friends, and family. All lives matter and losing a pet can be devastating. So this Memorial Day weekend, please sit back, relax, and enjoy the photos and videos of precious lives that are now in the arms of their creator.
I wrote a poem to start off this post. I hope you enjoy.
A pet is not just an animal But a part of the family Time shared with them Seems to go by so rapidly
A bond so strong Between human and animal A life shared together Makes loss hard to handle
There is no timeline for grief Our pets are not forgotten But in one’s own time The pain may soften
It’s Sunday! You know what that means…time to kick back & relax.
Today I have a cute video of a day in the life of Judy. Judy is a pet rabbit cared for by the talented young blogger, Leona from inkgirlwords. She shared this video with me and I couldn’t help but share it with you. Continue reading →
It’s Sunday! A time for kicking back, relaxing, and playing!
Below I have put together some pictures of Cino playing. I also added a few videos. The second video is from my first year with Cino. I hope you enjoy them and Happy Sunday! Don’t forget to play a little yourself. 🙂
It’s Sunday! As I always say, it’s time for kicking back & relaxing. I have put together a slideshow with some of the pet pictures others have shared with me, and some of my Cino. These pets have the right idea! So sweet.
