Romans 8:19-“For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.” “Creation” is every living thing.

Red Rovers Reading Program

I did this training online earlier this year. This is an awesome thing. Its teaching children empathy for animals! If you’re an educator you know this also teaches empathy to humans. Studies have shown connections.
If have teacher friends, share this with them. The more schools this program is in, the more the world will start treating animals with the respect and care God intended for them. The more we will be a part of making a change in the world.

Adopt From a Shelter

It always breaks my heart when someone tells me they just got a new puppy or kitten and when I ask “where did you get it?”, their answer is they drove miles to go get it from a breeder. Ahhhh! Why would someone make that choice when there are so many animals sitting in shelters who will most likely be euthanized if no-one adopts them in a certain time period.

Here are some links to some articles discussing this topic:
Why Adopt Rather Than Buy?
Breeders vs. Rescues
Buying vs. Adopting

The number of animals euthanized in a day is absolutely mind boggling. As human beings, we are responsible to care for these creatures. How can we support places out only for a profit and ignore
innocent animals waiting for a home?
