It’s Sunday! Time to kick back and relax!
I think I could stare at this beautiful, relaxing picture all day. Who’s with me?

Or…just take a great big nap!

Momma’s Gone CityI came across an article called “Do Dogs Have Feelings?” by Michael Arbeiter. My answer before reading it is, YES, all animals do!

Cinnamon
This article mentions that dogs feelings (or emotions) can be things like fear, aggression, and panic. These feelings/emotions can cause behavior problems. There is also joy in animals.
“If I act very, silly, that’ll produce a joy that is greater in a dog than just wagging their tail. When you’re acting goofier-maybe you’re running around in the yard or you’re playing fetch-there’s a higher level of happiness.”
So far I have done Tuesday Tales about animals I find on the web, about my cat Cino, and about people I know and their pet stories. NOW I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
RAREDailyA lot of you have your own blog about your pet, so I understand you are already telling the story of your pet. But by sharing it with me, you may gain some new exposure and, quite frankly, you would really be helping me out. A lot of bloggers view posts, but do not necessarily participate, perhaps because your own blog is keeping you busy. Or maybe you’re thinking somebody else will participate so you are not needed. You are needed!! I love hearing about your stories too! It’s important for bloggers to connect and animal lovers!
I am not asking for a lot of your time, you don’t have to share much. You could share just one paragraph that sums up the story of your pet. But if you prefer, it can be longer than a paragraph. Share as much or as little as you would like. It would be great to have a picture of them to go along with the paragraph too.
What I will do is include the paragraph and photo you send me in one of my Tuesday Tales along with others. I will include a link back to your blog as well.

Halloween is near! Although this may be a fun time for children and adults, this can be a scary time for our pets.

It’s a noisy and busy night. It’s important to keep your pets inside, safe, and calm.
Here are some safety tips from petMD.

“Volunteer Marcia Berrios will never forget the day Biggie was surrendered by his owner. On August 6th, 2015, a man pulled into the driveway and brought out a white dog with black spots. He had tears in his eyes.”

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax and get a massage!
This dog has the right idea!
(It may take a minute for it to fully load)Have you ever gotten a massage? I did just one time. It was a gift from my sister for Christmas. We went together. I was really nervous because it seemed really weird to me to have have a stranger give you a massage. It turned out not to be as weird as I thought and it was certainly very relaxing! I would probably get another one some day.
How about your pet? Have you ever taken them for a massage? I love that this is an option for our pets too. After all they get sore just as we do.

Cletus was a senior dog that was abandoned in a park. My first reaction was to be pretty upset with the person who did this, but then I read the full story.

This is the tale of Charlee.
Charlee is 8 months old. She had a family and a home. Sadly, one day when Charlee was in the backyard of her home, she somehow got out and into the street, and a car hit her.
We don’t know the entire back-story. How she got out of the backyard or how much the surgery would cost. What we do know is her family could not afford the surgery Charlee required, so they brought her to a shelter.
At the shelter, she received the necessary surgery; however, they could not save her back right leg.

This is the tale of Jack.
It was a school day. Same morning routine…brush your teeth, eat breakfast, get dressed, kiss your parents and off to school he goes. He went out the same door and through the parking lot and pass the dumpster as he always did. Only this time he heard something from within the dumpster. It was a little dog.
