I have gone on a few day trips lately and I thought I would share some of the pictures with you from these leisurely days.
It is so important to take a break every week and notice the beauty around you.
Last night while I was unpacking my groceries I realized I forgot to get the protein bars I usually get. Since I do not eat meat, I try to get protein in other foods. These protein bars are one way and it helps that they are really good! Just when I was thinking I would need to go back to the store I remembered a recipe I had that would be a good replacement.
Since I post recipes every now & then, I thought this would be a good one to share. It’s also very easy to put together.
NO BAKE CHIA ENERGY BITES
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons shredded coconut
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
raisins or chocolate chips
Mix all the ingredients together until fully combined.
