Things are still such a whirlwind for me since we’ve moved. All I want to do is get the new place together. But life always has other plans. There is always other things that come up or simply just other things to do. But there is progress. I can see most of the living room floor now. We haven’t seen the floor behind the couch for 6 weeks since it is a good place to put boxes.
Cino seems to really enjoy her new home with more space and stairs she can run up and down. I was told the people who lived here before us had a big dog and that he would bark out the window all day. The neighbors seem to think Continue reading →
Things are so busy for me with the move and I can tell will be for a while. But where I live the last few days we’ve had beautiful weather and I made sure I took time to sit back and enjoy it.
I stopped unpacking and organizing around 6:00 last night so I could sit down, look out the window and enjoy having the windows open, write this post and watch “Jurassic World.” I do not like horror movies or Godzilla type movies but there is something about Jurassic movies I do like. It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and for us…take in new surroundings.
The move went fine but there is still so much to do and get used to. It is always very strange when in a new home. I am having trouble sleeping and getting into a groove around here. Cino is too. She spent the first couple days hiding but is now wandering around most of the new place. But I can tell she is uneasy and confused.
We now have a stairway and she spends alot of time going up and down the steps and meowing. I’m not sure if she’s having fun or stressed. I don’t think she’s ever experienced steps before. New surroundings, new adventure.
