Trish-MollySee Molly on Pinterest

Just one of the pins on my Pinterest Page. This dog is my cousin’s great dog, Molly. I try to use pictures of pets from people I know on all of my blog posts.

What Would Happen To Your Pet If Something Happened To You?

Are you prepared?

Scott copy

Our pets are our family, but if something ever happened to you, what would happen to your pet? This is something so easily overlooked, but being unprepared could be detrimental to your pet.

I saw a post on Facebook that led to this article: Bonded German Shepherd Pair Surrendered to Shelter After Owner Dies Placed On Death Row.

A Dog On A Chain

This picture is heartbreaking!

Should you put a dog on a chain or not put a dog on a chain?

The word “chain” is in itself so negative. I think its acceptable if you put a dog on an extended leash, maybe one made out of small chains, that will keep them safe from running off if you don’t have a fenced in yard. If you have a fenced in yard, there should be no need. Continue reading

Catching a Dog When They Run Away

If you have a dog, there probably has been a time when they have slipped out the door or slipped through the fence. Our little poodle we had growing up was somehow down the street before we knew it many times. If you have a dog you also know getting them back becomes a game. I provide a blanket for her to hide under in the living room so she stays near me. But she can also go in her bed, under the bed, under the sheets (as pictured in photo) wherever she needs to. “Twenty-one years ago, my husband gave me Sam, an eight-week-old schnauzer, to help ease the loss of our daughter, who was stillborn. Sam and I developed a very special bond over the next fourteen years. It seemed nothing that happened could ever change that.
At one point, my husband and I decided to relocate from our New York apartment to a new home in New Jersey. After we were there awhile, our neighbor, whose cat had recently had kittens, asked us if we would like one. Continue reading

Animals in Heaven

OK, so the movie is “All Dogs Go to Heaven.” That’s true! But…actually ALL ANIMALS go to heaven.

Visit this link for some bible verses about animals in heaven: Bible Online

Romans 8:19-“For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.” “Creation” is every living thing.

So for those mourning the loss of a beloved pet, they are in good hands!
