Finally! I was finally able to finish the video I was working on two weeks ago when I ran into all kinds of software/computer trouble. It so happens that today is Cat World Domination Day! So it worked out ok because what a perfect day to share it. 🐱
I put the video together in honor of a cat that was beaten on live video. Continue reading →
Hello all. Happy Sunday! This one is a lot more relaxing for me than last Sunday. I ran into all kinds of computer/software issues and never got to post what I had planned. I will be saving that post for another day. I am still having some trouble with where it all started…iMovie. I keep trying to update it but I don’t think it actually is. I don’t even necessarily care if it updates, I just want it to work and it wasn’t. I could create a movie but then when I would play it back it would be a blank black screen. It seems that this is a common problem many people have. One of the recommended solutions was updating it, which again, is where all of my troubles began. Maybe the next thing to try is uninstalling and reinstalling. I hate doing that because it seems like everything takes an eternity to download, update, install, etc., on an iMac. Another day maybe. For today I wanted to go ahead and take a break from that and share some pics I got on our family day. We celebrated Father’s Day (and a couple of belated birthdays).
We visited a wildlife sanctuary and it was a beautiful day to walk around and look at these magnificent animals. The elk were enjoying the weather too.
When we were directly in the sun it would get a bit warm so it was pretty tempting to want to join these guys in the water. 🙂
I put together a post for today and have ran into technology problems that have turned into an entire day long project.
To say the least I feel just as Cino looks…exhausted.
The problems are with my desktop computer where I do all of my artwork and blogging from. Not sure if they are fixed but it looks like that post and maybe others will have to be on hold for now. Ugh.
It’s Sunday! Time to kick back & relax. It is so nice to kick back with the scent of a nice candle but have you ever thought about how it affects our pets?
I have been working on replacing my candles since learning about how paraffin wax is not as healthy as a natural wax such as soy. It isn’t just unhealthy for us, it is also unhealthy for our pets.
I just recently got a new wax warmer from a Scentsy party my niece had. I absolutely LOVE the garden warmer.
I needed to get some wax melts for it and was researching online where I could get soy/natural ones. In the process of researching I read some information on scents that cats love & hate. Oh dear, now I had to worry about what scent I was getting too.
Let’s look at what a mom does. They care for their child by making sure they have a roof over their head. That they have food and water. They care for them when they are sick. They protect them. They love them! Well…..this sounds just like what a pet mom does too!
You feed them when they’re hungry Make sure they have water in their dish That they have lots of toys to play with And almost anything they wish
Taking care of them when they’re sick Always making sure they’re alright You may not have given birth to them But you knew they were yours at first sight
You care for them on a daily basis For their whole life this is what you do If you have a pet, you’re a mom So Happy Mothers Day to you too!

Happy Sunday and Happy Mother’s Day to all of the human and pet moms! 🐱🐶🐰🐭
It’s Sunday! Time to kick back & relax. Maybe we can relax by reading a book to a little one in our life.
How animals are treated now and in the future depends on us. Not me as an animal advocate, but US. Every one of us is responsible for how animals are treated in this world.
Most of us have children in our lives whether it be our own, nieces & nephews, or friend’s children. Just teaching these children in our life kindness, compassion, and empathy towards animals can make a HUGE difference.
You may know that I am a huge fan of the RedRover Readers program. This program is a curriculum designed to teach children empathy toward animals. I read one of the books from this program to a few groups of children in a preschool classroom this past week. The book is called “Ginger Finds a Home.”
Not only did I read the book, but since RedRover Readers is an SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) curriculum, I asked each child Continue reading →
There is so much going on around us in this world, just don’t give up. Don’t give up on being kind, on making a change (peacefully), on our fellow man, on animals, or on praying.
