How is the image above with the quote related to Halloween? It is because, unfortunately, there are a lot of people who like to hurt animals. On this night when there are a lot of pranksters out, your pet can become the victim of their pranks and trouble-making, which sometimes even results in killing animals. Continue reading
It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and really enjoy nature.
Autumn is my favorite time of year! It’s a comfortable temperature, super cozy, and absolutely beautiful. You definitely need to take a pause and look around at nature this time of year.
My family and I recently went to an arboretum to enjoy the trees changing colors. I mentioned in last Sunday’s post that I might get a few more pics before all of the leaves fall off of the trees and on this day I did.
It’s Sunday! A time to kick back, relax, and pause for change.
Change can be something we are excited about or scared of. Change can be good and it can be bad. When it comes to season changes this can also be good, bad, or exciting, depending on how you look at it. Well right now we are smack dab right in the middle of my favorite season…autumn. This change is good and so beautiful!
I have gone on a few day trips lately and tried to capture some of the beauty of autumn. We aren’t having our best year for leaf colors, but it’s still out there.
I ran across this on a sidewalk in a town I was visiting. I thought it was perfect for this post.
While driving , if you saw a dog or a cat wandering around alone, would you stop to help it? It is surprising how many people don’t.
A couple of my co-workers saw a puppy last night running in a very busy road. They said everyone was just driving by and no-one was even slowing down for the pup. Thank God for my co-worker’s compassion! They did stop and scooped him up and out of danger.
I‘ll never understand how anyone can see another living creature in danger, whether it be from traffic, starvation, other animals, weather, and even danger of other people, and not help it. It is one thing when it is wildlife running around (but still if they seem to be in danger, you should try to help), it is another thing if it is an animal such as a dog or cat. Obviously, these are domesticated animals and most likely someone’s lost pet.
It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and realize what’s most important.
There has been a lot of tragedy lately. It certainly has been bringing me down a bit. But I know there is also a lot of beauty in the world. A few examples of this beauty I feel are shown in the two pictures below I took of a sunset and a full moon.
Did you know today is “World Animal Day?” I just heard the name and that’s all it took for me to know I would love this day. Here is the description of the mission of this day from Wikipedia:
“The mission of World Animal Day, according to the official World Animal Day website is “To raise the status of animals in order to improve welfare standards around the globe. Building the celebration of World Animal Day unites the animal welfare movement, mobilising it into a global force to make the world a better place for all animals. It’s celebrated in different ways in every country, irrespective of nationality, religion, faith or political ideology. Through increased awareness and education we can create a world where animals are always recognised as sentient beings and full regard is always paid to their welfare.”
Love it!
It’s Sunday! A time to kick back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful weather.
I have gone on a few day trips lately and I thought I would share some of the pictures with you from these leisurely days.

It is so important to take a break every week and notice the beauty around you.

Hello! I have two adorable photos for two things going on this week.
First, it’s National Dog Week. A big THANK YOU to all of the furry babies who are so loyal and who are always there for us.
The cutie pie below is Bogey (photo taken by Tammy Taylor and edited by me).
Animal abuse, a very sad topic, but one that needs to be given attention.
Did you know animal abuse isn’t just someone hitting or hurting their own pet?
Did you know animals are being abused daily and we are allowing it?
On the packaging of items that are organic, such as cheese, it says “Pasture Raised Cows.” There are WAY less organic products available than non-organic products. So what is happening to the other cows?
